## Rate Comparison Methodology
1. Rates are collected from each portal's public-facing store pages
2. Rates are normalized to a common format (percentage or fixed dollar amount)
3. Category-specific rates are broken out separately (e.g., "5% on clothing, 2% on electronics")
4. Bonus/promotional rates are flagged and displayed alongside base rates
5. Rate verification timestamps are shown so users know how current the data is
